DeeOne Completes 52 Hour Comedy Marathon, Awaits World Record Confirmation

Nigerian comedian and reality star DeeOne has made history with a marathon comedy show.

He performed for 52 hours and 42 minutes, aiming to set the world record for the longest stand up comedy performance.

The attempt started at midnight on October 2 and ended late Saturday October 4 2025.

The event took place at Pallazzo in Ikeja, Lagos State, and drew a lively crowd of fans and fellow entertainers.

Celebrities in attendance included Pamilerin, Acapella, FunnyBone, Uche Maduagwu, Husband Material, EmmaOhMaGod, K Solo, Constance Owoyemi, Akinolu Jekins, and Gbenga Adeyinka the First.

DeeOne said his goal was to inspire young Nigerians and show that no dream is too big.

Guinness World Records is now reviewing the attempt.

If confirmed, DeeOne will break the current record of 40 hours, 16 minutes, and 48 seconds set by American comedian Benny Elbows in April 2025.
