If I made a lot of money, I would leave the music industry to struggle on its own – Biswanka
The saying “Never bite the hand that feeds you” does not seem to apply to rising singer Derrick Biswanka.
While he is not outright biting the hand, he certainly has no plans to give back to it once he achieves success.
In a recent media interview, Biswanka shared that if he ever made a lot of money, the last thing on his mind would be the music industry.
He revealed that he would leave the industry to fend for itself, focusing on his own priorities, as he has many personal issues to address.
He believes this mindset should be adopted by all musicians. Once they achieve a hit song, they should make the most of it and earn as much money as they can.
The “Rest of My Life” singer also took aim at industry leaders, claiming that they are more concerned with fulfilling their own desires than improving the sector.
According to him, he has never witnessed a meeting where these leaders genuinely discuss plans to better the industry.
With about 12 songs in his catalog, Biswanka is looking forward to his upcoming concert this month, which will be organized by Promoter Abitex.
