Social media influencer Desmond Scott has issued a public apology to his family, asking for privacy as he goes through a personal transition.
In his statement, he said he is sorry to his wife Kristy Scott, their family, and everyone affected by the situation, especially because of the intense public attention it has attracted.
Desmond also admitted he made decisions during the final stages of the marriage that he is not proud of, taking full responsibility for his actions.
He revealed that the relationship had been facing challenges for a while, and towards the end of 2025, he started conversations about separating.
After addressing the matter directly with Kristy, the two later agreed to divorce.
Desmond stressed that his children remain his priority and promised to stay a present and loving father to their two sons.
