Diddy’s Prison Release Date Moves Closer After Rehabilitation Program
Music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is expected to leave prison earlier than first scheduled.
New reports say his projected release date has been moved forward by about six weeks.
The updated date is now April 25, 2028, instead of the earlier estimate of June 4, 2028.
The adjustment is linked to his participation in a federal prison rehabilitation program.
In some cases, inmates who take part in approved programs can receive time reductions on their sentences.
Diddy is currently serving a 50 month prison term after being convicted on two federal counts related to transportation for prostitution.
His legal team is also continuing efforts to challenge the sentence through the appeals process.
While the release date remains years away, the update means the former Bad Boy Records boss could return to the outside sooner than previously expected.
