Director Darlington Addresses the Controversy Surrounding ‘Kankutekemu’ Video Featuring Pretty Nicole

In the wake of significant backlash on social media, video director Darlington, the mastermind behind Mikie Wine’s “Kankutekemu” music video featuring Pretty Nicole, commented on the controversy surrounding the project.

Speaking to media, Darlington pointed out that no one truly knows Pretty Nicole’s age and admitted he has been observing her in the same way the public has, mainly through social media and various scandals.

He described Pretty Nicole as a talented actress and recalled a conversation they had at Freedom City, where his offices are located.

During their meeting, she expressed her desire to act, saying, “I want to act,” and asked him to let her know if any opportunities arose.

At that time, Darlington had a video shoot planned for Mikie Wine’s song. However, given what he had heard about her, he decided they needed to complete some paperwork first.

He approached Pretty Nicole’s mother to seek permission for her participation in the video, which was granted, and they signed a document to formalize the agreement.

They also discussed the payment Pretty Nicole would receive for her work.

The video was filmed at Forest Resort Lweza. On the day of the shoot, Pretty Nicole arrived with a guardian, who was present throughout the filming.

After the shoot concluded, she left with her guardian while the rest of the crew remained at the venue.
