DJ Selecta Jeff Shares Advice on Building a Sustainable DJ Brand

Ugandan DJ Selecta Jeff is reminding everyone in the entertainment industry that talent alone isn’t enough. Character, he says, is just as important.

In a recent post on X, Jeff stressed that while skill behind the decks is crucial, humility can take a DJ further than they ever imagined.

He warned that nothing happening now is truly new, and that everything has been done before.

From there, he urged his peers to take it easy and stay grounded.

A lot of things make a Sustainable DJ Brand… one of the most important ones after ‘TALENT/SKILL’ is Character. Being humble has taken most of us places we could only dream of. Whatever we are doing now, has been done before, let’s calm down.”
