Do Not Force Your Children Into What You Want, Brian Lubega Encourages
Unlike many celebrities who keep their relationships hidden, Ugandan gospel singer Brian Lubega has chosen to proudly speak about his family.
While appearing on Sanyuka Bigenda Bitya, he openly declared that he is a married man and even mentioned his wife’s full name.
I am married. My wife is called Mary Kobusingye Gorreti. I want the world to know.
Lubega went on to reveal that he has three children, and all of them have inherited his love for music.
I have three children, one girl and two boys. They are all still in school, and they all love to sing.
When asked why he never shows his children to the public, the singer explained that he prefers to protect them from pressure and harsh judgment.
The world is cruel. You have to be very loving to avoid exposing your children. You might throw them into things they cannot handle. Just because God called me to something does not mean He called them to the same purpose. So I have to be a loving father, one who wishes well for his children, giving them the liberty to grow the way they should, instead of forcing them to grow the way I want them to.
With this, Brian Lubega made it clear that while he is proud of his marriage, he will continue to keep his children away from the spotlight until they are old enough to decide for themselves.
