Do Not Have Kids If You Are Not Financially Ready, Zari Urges Women

Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan, who lives in South Africa, has sparked conversation with her no-nonsense advice to women about love, money, and raising children.

She warned that love alone is not enough to raise a child in today’s world and urged women to carefully consider their financial readiness before starting a family.

You need to be in a position where, if the man leaves, you can still manage everything on your own. Too many women end up in difficult situations because they allowed emotions or love to guide their decisions.

Zari also highlighted the risks of relationships built mainly on affection or physical attraction.

Love and sexual pleasure cannot secure a future. If you do not have the means to support a child, you should not bring one into the world.

She went further, suggesting that women who cannot provide for a child on their own should even consider termination, underlining that being ready financially is a crucial step before bringing a child into the world.
