Don MC Rates A Pass’s Concert 1000%, Calls Him a True Perfectionist

Any Ugandan rap fan would instantly recognize the name Don MC Kapata, born Donald R. Rutaisire.

He dominated the airwaves with hits like “Tobimanyi,” “Yes Yes,” and “Oli Mbuzi,” securing his place among Uganda’s hip-hop favorites.

However, he has been off the scene for quite some time, staying out of the public eye.

Recently, he made a rare appearance at A Pass’s just-concluded concert at Kampala Serena Hotel and took a moment for a media interview, where he spoke about his relationship with the “Tuli Kubigere” singer.

He revealed that A Pass is not just a friend but a brother.

He shared that they started their careers together in high school at St. Lawrence Creamland Campus, where they began making and writing music.

Commenting on A Pass’s maiden concert, Don MC rated it 1000% out of 100%.

He described A Pass as a perfectionist who never does anything just for the sake of it.

Don MC concluded by noting that A Pass taking nearly a decade to hold his first concert reflects the extensive planning behind it, and the event’s success proves that his efforts were worthwhile.
