Don Zella Spills the Beans: Who Was Her First, Kenzo or Big Eye?

City socialite Sheila Nadege, popularly known as Don Zella, shared interesting details about her past relationships with Ugandan musicians Big Eye and Eddy Kenzo.

In a recent live video chat, she recalled a memorable trip to Masaka in 2009, when both artistes were just starting their music careers.

At the time, they were so early in their journey that they had to share a single pair of shoes for their performances.

During the trip, Don Zella mentioned that Big Eye expressed interest in her, but she could not be with him since she had traveled because of Eddy Kenzo and they were in the process of getting to know each other.

Despite Big Eye’s advances, Don Zella spent the night in Kenzo’s room. This situation left Big Eye in limbo, as he had even told her he would keep his room door open in case she decided to change her mind.

As their careers progressed, Don Zella desired a serious relationship. She explained that Big Eye often told her Kenzo was not the right match for her, suggesting that he was simply wasting her time.

This prompted her to have a conversation with Kenzo about their future together.

According to Don Zella, Kenzo was upfront and admitted he was not ready for a serious commitment, as he was focused on building his music career and making money.

In contrast, Big Eye was ready for a committed relationship, and Don Zella revealed that Kenzo even encouraged her to pursue a relationship with the “Indicator” singer, believing he would be a better fit for her.

This is how her relationship with Big Eye started, with Kenzo being fully aware of and supportive of the situation. She also noted that it was through Eddy Kenzo that she got to know about Big Eye.

Don Zella went on to emphasise that her involvement never caused any problems between the two artistes. However, tensions arose when Big Eye left Big Talent to start his own music label, Big Music.

Looking at the present, while acknowledging Big Eye’s potential, Don Zella expressed concern that he is spending too much energy on conflicts instead of focusing on releasing new music.

She questioned why his fans seem more interested in fueling his disputes with other artistes, particularly Eddy Kenzo, rather than encouraging his musical career.
