Dr. Propa Admits Using “Drugs” and Explains Why
Ugandan singer Dr. Propa, born Johnholl Arinaibye, has admitted that he uses drugs, but was quick to clarify that he meant medicine, not illegal substances.
In a conversation with Daily Soup, the “Bwoba Ogenda” hitmaker explained that whenever he falls sick, like anyone else, he goes to a pharmacy for treatment.
Me I use drugs, because when I fall sick, I go to a drug shop and buy medicine. I do not know what kind of drugs you are talking about.

He also dismissed suggestions that he uses substances like marijuana, saying music alone gives him a natural high.
No, no, no. We are born already high, simply because we have the gift of singing.
So for Dr. Propa, his only “drugs” are the kind that come from a pharmacy, not the streets.
