Dynoso Laments Lost Gigs After UCC Bans ‘Mukube Paver’

Wegosso Dynoso is pushing back against the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) for suspending his song “Mukube Paver.”

The upcoming singer says the move has blocked his music from airplay and cut off his chances to perform and earn.

I have been refused from performing anywhere, and this is unfair, because where will I earn from?

He questioned the decision, calling it unfair and asking why regulators blocked his song.

Why would they refuse my song from being played?

Dynoso also raised concerns about exclusion in his own region, pointing to his identity and background.

Tuli baana ba Buganda, aba Kabaka, lwaki mungaana okuyimbira wano ewaffe?

His remarks follows a directive from UCC ordering broadcasters and the public to stop airing or promoting the song over concerns about its content.

The situation has sparked mixed reactions, with some supporting the regulator while others say the artiste deserves a chance.
