Eddy Kenzo Explains Why He Will Never Retire from Music

Eddy Kenzo has earned international acclaim, collecting prestigious awards and making a significant mark on the music industry.

Yet, despite the fame and financial success, Kenzo remains driven by something deeper than trophies or money, and shows no signs of slowing down.

In a recent interview with Sanyuka TV, the celebrated singer was asked when he plans to retire.

He answered by saying that music is not a job to him, so retirement does not apply.

“I have never felt like I am working or employed, that I will retire one day,” he explained.

For Kenzo, music is a passion that flows naturally, not an obligation or routine.

He decides when and how he works, balancing periods of rest and creativity in a way that suits him best.

“So many people call me, asking me to perform, and I turn them down because I am resting. Then one morning, I wake up ready to work. That is how I do my thing. Sometimes I rest, then I work, then rest again,” he said.
