Eddy Kenzo Promises to Make Things Right After Arua Show Disaster

Fans in Arua were left disappointed when BET award winner Eddy Kenzo failed to perform at a scheduled event.

The trouble began when the promoter, who had organized the show, did not fulfil their commitments.

Kenzo explained in an interview with Uncut that the promoter had borrowed a significant amount of money, promising to repay it with the gate collections. However, the promoter booked more venues than initially agreed upon, causing confusion.

Kenzo was scheduled to perform at only three locations: Arua, Adjumani, and Pakwach. Despite this, the promoter collected money for additional locations, falsely claiming that Kenzo would perform at those places as well.

When Kenzo and his team arrived in Arua on Saturday, 14th September, at 4 PM, after their show in Adjumani the previous day, they found that the promoter had been arrested on charges of fraudulent practices.

By 9 PM, aggrieved parties began causing chaos. Kenzo started receiving urgent warnings from multiple sources advising him against attending the venue due to safety concerns.

In the Uncut interview, Kenzo said he might need to either organize his own shows or work with a more reliable promoter to avoid such issues in the future.

He assured the people of Arua that he plans to make things right.

Kenzo promised to return for a performance, bringing all the necessary equipment from Kampala and collaborating with local artists to ensure a great show.
