Elsa Majimbo Warns Women: “Do Not Get Pregnant”
Kenyan-born comedian and internet personality Elsa Majimbo has once again ignited discussions online with her latest candid advice, this time warning her followers against pregnancy.
In a recent TikTok video, Majimbo emphatically urged young women to avoid having children unless they are in a stable marriage, citing the immense responsibility and mental strain that comes with parenthood.
“Do not get pregnant,” she declared. “The responsibility and mental turmoil are not just about having cute babies or me being a feminist who doesn’t want women to progress. Do not get pregnant.”
To illustrate her point, Majimbo shared a personal anecdote about her recent experience with pet ownership.
“A week ago, I got two dogs. I’ve always wanted a dog. I was with them for 80 hours and I took them back. Dogs, and you wanna have a child?” she questioned, highlighting the long-term commitment required to care for another being.
Majimbo’s message extended beyond pregnancy, as she also shared strong opinions on other life choices. She advised against drug use, urging her followers to “not do drugs” and instead focus on education and skill development.
Additionally, she encouraged women to prioritize self-reliance rather than depending on men.
This is not the first time Majimbo has stirred controversy with her straightforward opinions.
She recently made headlines for labeling certain behaviors as signs of a “loser,” calling out bullying, excessive drinking, and drug use.
She described bullies as “unloved, attention-seeking” individuals who prey on the vulnerable, criticized heavy drinking as a lack of self-control, and called drug use a “destructive force” that “ruins your life.”
