Expect Mega Hits, Grammy, and BET Awards from Me This Year – Gloria Bugie
For Gloria Bugie, 2024 was a year of change and challenges, with the “Nyash” singer drawing attention through both admiration and controversy.
In a recent interview, she opened up about her journey, the challenges she faced, and her exciting plans for 2025.
Bugie thanked her fans for their support, describing it as “real love.”
Despite facing hurdles last year, she quickly highlighted that the good moments far outweighed the bad.
“I received bookings and started making money from my music in my very first year,” she said, acknowledging the positive momentum she has built in her career.
While she has enjoyed considerable success, it has not come without its share of controversy.
Bugie became one of the most talked-about artistes in Uganda last year, as public criticism and debates about indecency swirled around her personal life and career.
Looking ahead, Bugie is setting her sights on even bigger accomplishments.
“Expect hit after hit from me in 2025, along with Grammy Awards and BET Awards,” she declared, showing unshakable belief in her potential.
Regarding her music, Bugie emphasized that her style is still evolving and is gradually resonating with her audience.
“People have not fully understood my style of music yet; it is still growing on them, and they are still getting used to it,” she explained.
To aid in this gradual acceptance, Bugie plans to continue releasing singles, allowing her fans time to fully embrace her sound before moving on to larger projects like albums.
“I want to give my fans singles so they can understand my style of music,” she shared, stressing the importance of taking time to cultivate a deeper connection with her listeners.
Bugie’s latest single, “Panama,” is already making waves, and she is confident that it will represent Uganda on the global stage.
“It is an amazing song that can represent Uganda out there,” she said, urging Ugandans to watch the video.
