Falz Confirmed as Host of 9th AFRIMA Awards in Lagos
Nigerian entertainer Falz has been confirmed as the host of the 9th AFRIMA Awards, scheduled to take place in Lagos.
The announcement was shared by AFRIMA as preparations continue for one of Africa’s biggest music events.
Having previously won at the awards, Falz now returns in a new role, taking charge of the night as host.
Known for his confident delivery and strong stage presence, the rapper is expected to guide the ceremony with ease while keeping the energy flowing throughout the event.
The awards ceremony will be held on January 11, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island.
The red carpet begins at 3:30 PM, followed by the main show at 7:00 PM WAT.
With Falz leading the programme, anticipation continues to build for a night celebrating African music and talent.
