Father of Late Nalubwama Caroline Expresses Relief After Bryan White’s Remand

The ongoing case surrounding the death of Nalubwama Caroline took another major step today, with her father, Ssalongo Mutyaba Tom, emerging as the emotional heart of the moment.

With the court session held behind closed doors, he became the only direct source of information on what transpired inside.

Nalubwama Caroline’s death reportedly occurred at Bryan White’s Makindye home on October 22, and prosecutors accuse him and others of causing her death for purposes connected to witchcraft, ritual activity, or other unlawful intentions.

These allegations formed the basis of the charges read out in court.

Speaking on camera, Ssalongo Tom confirmed that the judge read seven counts against Bryan White before ordering his remand to Luzira Prison until December 18.

Despite the weight of the case, Ssalongo Tom expressed gratitude to those who have supported him as he continues to pursue justice for his daughter.

For now, I am grateful to everyone who has tried their best to ensure that I get justice for my daughter, who died in a manner I was not satisfied with. Now that the key suspect has been brought before court, I am feeling somewhat relieved.

For a family longing for answers, this moment offered a measure of hope that the truth will finally come to light.
