February 14 Is Just Another Day, Says Chozen Blood
As Valentine’s Day approaches and couples begin planning surprises, gifts, and romantic getaways, not everyone is buying into the hype.
Ugandan singer Chozen Blood has made it clear that February 14 does not hold special meaning for him.
Speaking to Rewind, the love ballad vocalist said love should be celebrated every day, not just on one date.
To me, every day is Valentine’s Day. If I have someone I love, we can even celebrate Valentine’s Day the day after the marked calendar date. I do not wait for a specific moment to celebrate love. Whenever we get the time, we can celebrate love.”
He added that he does not feel obligated to follow global trends or traditions when it comes to matters of the heart.
We are not going to follow what the world is doing. I do not even know who started it or why. To me, Valentine is not that special because I feel like Valentine is every day when I am with my woman.
In Chozen Blood’s book, love does not need a date stamp.
