Feffe Bussi Sets Lugogo Cricket Oval for 10 Year Music Concert

Whenever fans hear a Ugandan rapper mention Lugogo Cricket Oval, many get nervous.

The venue is huge, respected, and not easy to fill.

Add to that the belief that rap music does not always draw massive crowds, and the move sounds risky.

However, Ugandan rapper Feffe Bussi has confirmed that his next concert will be held at the Cricket Oval.

Speaking to Daily Soup, the “Love Yoo” hitmaker said the choice came after fans struggled to access his previous show at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.

I chose Cricket Oval this time around because last time I did a show at Jahazi Pier. It was my very first show. Many people complained that they did not know Jahazi. They also said there are no taxis that go to Munyonyo. They said I made life difficult for them. So they asked me to put my next show in the capital centre.

He added that the concert also marks an important milestone in his career.

And also, I am marking 10 years in the music industry.

With a decade behind him, Feffe Bussi is going all in, hoping the Lugogo Cricket Oval fills up for the celebration.
