Fik Fameica Rejects the Culture of Public Breakups, Urges Keeping Them Off Camera

As social media continues to pull back the curtain on people’s personal lives, public breakups among celebrities have become increasingly common.

Recent examples include Bernie Gunter and Nikkie Berry, Apostle Jonathan Nalebo and Enid Mirembe, and, most recently, Hajat Kulthum and Acram Gumisiriza.

Weighing in on the trend during an interview with Sanyuka TV, rapper Fik Fameica expressed his disapproval of turning private matters into public spectacles.

“Relationships are supposed to be off camera,” he said, stressing his belief in keeping one’s love life away from the spotlight.

He added that the only time a public breakup might make sense is if the relationship itself was built in the public eye from the beginning.

Fik concluded by saying that public relationships simply are not for him, as he does not have the time to put his love life on display.
