Fik Gaza Denies Any Political Connection with Minister Balaam Following Their Meeting

Singer Fik Gaza, born Shafik Jjingo, has addressed public speculation surrounding his recent meeting with the Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, Balaam Barugahara.

Since both individuals belong to opposing political parties, rumors quickly spread that the minister was attempting to pay off the singer to abandon the struggle and support the incumbent government.

However, during a media interview, Fik Gaza clarified the purpose of their meeting.

He explained that the discussion was not political in any way. Instead, the focus was on supporting children in the ‘Gaza’ ghetto who lack essential scholastic materials, such as books, pens, and pencils.

The minister gave Fik Gaza 3 million Uganda shillings to purchase books and other scholastic materials, which he intends to distribute to school-going children in need.

Fik Gaza emphasized that the books would only be given to children who are actively attending school, as they are the ones who truly need them.

He also challenged those who are criticizing his meeting with the minister to take action themselves by providing scholastic materials, rather than just pointing fingers.

The singer made it clear that Minister Balaam Barugahara has always been a friend and has supported him with performance gigs in the past.

This time, the minister supported Fik Gaza’s initiative to help ghetto children by providing the funds for the cause.

Fik Gaza concluded by reiterating that his actions were motivated by a genuine desire to help ghetto children in need, not by any political agenda.
