Fik Gaza Eyes Political Future, Reflects on Romance with Sheilah Gashumba
Fik Gaza, the artist behind the hit “Banana,” recently appeared on Sanyuka TV’s Uncut, discussing his life, career, and ambitions.
He expressed his ongoing quest to find love, noting that Ugandan women are complicated and require careful handling.
Fik shared that he once dated Sheilah Gashumba, with whom he had a strong connection, but their relationship did not meet his expectations.
When asked if their breakup stemmed from her being the primary provider and having many rules that conflicted with his principles as a man, Fik did not deny it.
However, he emphasized that they remain friends and get along well.
In terms of his music career, Fik highlighted his achievements, sharing that he is building a house for his mother along Masaka Road and plans to construct a building of his own on land he recently purchased.
He also playfully mentioned his political aspirations, stating his intention to run for the Makindye West parliamentary seat, using a shoe as his campaign symbol.
When asked about his education, he admitted to dropping out after O’level but hinted that he has returned to school.
