Fik Gaza Responds to Arrest with Defiant Instagram Post, Claims Setup and False Charges

Singer Fik Gaza, whose real name is Shafiq Dangote, is currently in police custody at Kibuye Police Station amid a series of robbery-related allegations.

However, the artiste has strongly denied the accusations, claiming they are part of a deliberate attempt to sabotage his career and reputation.

In an Instagram post, Fik Gaza referred to the situation as a “setup” and insisted that he had been informed of a plan to arrest him on “false charges.”

The singer expressed frustration, accusing certain individuals of spreading lies about him and attempting to bring him down.

“I’m calling out the liars and the haters. I know who you are, and I know what you’re trying to do,” he wrote in the post.

Fik Gaza also made it clear that he is not backing down. He vowed to stand strong and fight for the truth, urging his fans for support during this difficult time.

“To my fans, I need your support now more than ever. Share this post, spread the word, and let’s get the truth out!” he urged.

The hashtags #JusticeForMe, #SetupAlert, #FalseCharges, and #TruthWillPrevail accompanied the post, signaling his plea for fairness and a call for his supporters to amplify his message.

The police operation that led to his arrest, along with three others, was part of a crackdown on suspected criminals in Katwe Division.

During the operation, exhibits such as pangas, military attire, and suspected narcotics were recovered.

Sanctioned files are in place against all suspects arrested, and investigations are ongoing.
