Fille Mutoni on Staying Relevant Without Oversharing
In today’s entertainment world, talent alone is no longer enough to keep an artiste in the spotlight.
Audiences expect their favorites to be visible and active, and the digital world rewards those who show up consistently.
From TikTok Lives to podcasts, from vlogs to Twitter Spaces, entertainers now juggle a whole ecosystem of online engagement just to stay in the conversation.
For Ugandan singer Fille Mutoni, this new reality is something she says she is learning to adjust to.
Fille has always been known as a deeply private artiste.
She rarely courts publicity and has never been one to document her every move for the camera.
While speaking to YouTuber Saymore Official, she acknowledged that the current era demands a level of openness she is still easing into.
I show and share what I can, but not every moment from when I wake up until the day ends. I know I have to stay relevant in this digital era and I am working on that, even though it goes against my personality. I am working on it and I am good with it, but you are not going to see me doing all these crazy things or showing every tiny bit of my life.
She added that her calm, low profile presence is nothing new and has always been part of who she is.
I do not even know why people keep asking me, ‘Why are you not out there?’ This is who I have always been since time immemorial.
So fans of Fille Mutoni might as well keep refreshing her socials because she will show up.
But not every five minutes.
