Fille Mutoni Surprises Fans, Confirms New Music and Concert
After years of keeping a low profile, Ugandan R&B star Fille Mutoni is officially returning to the music scene.
The singer confirmed that new music will arrive in early 2026, followed by a major concert later in the year.
The announcement followed an emotional surprise performance at Comedy Store Uganda on October 15, 2025, where Fille stunned fans by taking the stage unannounced and performing a 15-song medley of her biggest hits, from “Sikyo” to “Where Have You Been All My Life?”
Speaking after the performance, Fille shared that the love from fans reignited her passion for music and inspired her comeback.
Fille, who first rose to fame in the early 2010s with her powerful vocals and heartfelt songwriting, became one of Uganda’s most celebrated R&B voices.
Her debut album, No Retreat (2015), produced multiple chart-topping hits and solidified her status as a leading female artiste.
After stepping away from the spotlight in 2019 to focus on family and personal growth, the singer spent the past few years living quietly and reflecting on her journey.
Now 34, Fille says she returns to the industry with renewed strength and purpose.
While details about her upcoming single and concert remain under wraps, sources close to the team hint that the first release is expected in Q1 2026, with a regional tour also being planned.
Fille’s comeback adds to the growing momentum of Ugandan and East African women reclaiming their space in the music industry, a return many fans have eagerly awaited.
