Fresh Kid Talks About His Education and the Support That Has Made It Possible

Singer Patrick Senyonjo, known as Fresh Kid, is stepping into a new chapter of his life after securing a scholarship to study at Hana International School.

The opportunity, arranged by Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, the presidential advisor on youth and children affairs, will allow him to pursue his secondary education under the Cambridge curriculum.

Excited about the journey ahead, Fresh Kid spoke highly of the school, saying he was impressed by the environment and eager to begin this new phase.

He expressed his appreciation to Nakiwala, who has supported him from the start and kept her promise to help him secure a place in a school offering the Cambridge curriculum.

He also recognized Ahamed Bogere Masembe, the Publicity Secretary to Hamis ‘Ham’ Kiggundu, the owner of Hana International School, for playing a key role in making this happen.

Additionally, he thanked the school’s headmaster and administration for the warm welcome he received.

Fresh Kid did not forget his roots. He credited his father for always standing by him and acknowledged the support of his family and friends from Kampala Parents School (KPS).

Looking back on his time at KPS, he described it as a great learning experience that helped shape him both academically and personally.

He also appreciated Ugandan business mogul Sudhir Ruparelia, his son Rajiv Ruparelia, and the Ruparelia Foundation for giving him the chance to study at KPS on a scholarship.

He recalled how Sudhir would check in on his progress, which motivated him to work hard and perform well, scoring 11 aggregates in his Primary Leaving Examinations.

Now, as he prepares for secondary school, Fresh Kid is determined to keep balancing his studies and music career, just as he did during primary school.
