From Loss to Comeback: Fik Famieca Promises Big Hits in 2026
Fik Famieca is ready to make 2026 all about music after a challenging 2025.
The rapper revealed that last year was more about politics than hits, as the election season forced many top musicians, including himself, to put their music careers on hold.
Even with the distractions, Fik Famieca says some artistes still shone through.
He highlighted Tracy Melon, Kapeke, Sheebah, Gloria Bugie, King Saha, and Mozelo as having standout years despite the political backdrop.
For Fik Famieca himself, personal challenges kept him away from the spotlight.
He spent much of the year caring for his sick mother, who sadly passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Combined with the tense political climate, these factors meant that he recorded music but did not release it.
Now, with the past behind him, Fik Famieca is fully focused on music.
He promises a flurry of new releases and a return to the vibrant energy fans expect from him.
2026, he told Sanyuka Uncut, is going to be the year fans get to see the him back in top form.
I had a setback last year. A lot was going on in my life and in my family, and it was a difficult time for me. This year, I’m pushing harder and getting ready to release some hits. – Fik Fameica#SanyukaUnCut #SanyukaUpdates #FfeBannoDdala pic.twitter.com/sQYfIrTz4N
