Gloria Bugie Announces Stage Name Change After Major Award Win
Ugandan singer Gloria Bugie is starting a new chapter in her music career.
On December 18, she announced her victory as the Best Female Artiste East and Southern Africa at the 2025 Zikomo Awards in Tanzania.
The achievement is so special that she has decided to modify her stage name.
Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, she revealed that from now on she will go by “Gloria Bugie International Award Winner.”
Because really, why not flaunt a win like this?
Fans who want to see the trophy up close will need to follow one rule: gloves are required to touch it.
Gloria is not stopping here, as she still has her sights set on the BET Awards and the Grammy Awards.
With that, she assured fans that the Zikomo award is only the first step in her international journey.
