Gloria Bugie Responds to Sheebah Over Crysto Panda: “I Expected a Fair Trial From a Leader”
Gloria Bugie has turned her attention to Sheebah Karungi after she publicly weighed in on her bitter dispute with fellow singer Crysto Panda.
While Gloria insisted that she loves and respects Sheebah, her message made it clear that she expected more from the First Vice President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF).
She addressed Sheebah as “Madam Vice President” of the “Federation” and the “No. 1 Feminist” before making it clear that she had expected more from a woman in Sheebah’s position.
Madam Vice President (Federation) & No. 1 Feminist, I love and respect you so much.

The message then shifted to the attacks Gloria says she has faced during her public clash with Crysto Panda.
Being called a prostitute, having her singing ability questioned, being body-shamed, and seeing her family and career dragged into the exchange were all part of the list.
Nga Omuntu Eyali Ayise mubyempitamu kati. Or even worse, being called a prostitute, that I can’t sing, body-shaming me, involving my family and coming for my career.
That is where the disagreement with Sheebah’s intervention comes into focus.
Gloria expected what she described as a fair hearing from a leader, but also acknowledged that Sheebah had chosen to support her friend.
I expected a fair trial from a leader, but anyway, I respect your opinion and your choice to support your friend.

The point was not that Sheebah had no right to an opinion. The issue was the side she chose to take.
Still, Gloria appeared ready to leave it there.
No further comments about this. I respect women. I am a girls’ girl.
The post came after Sheebah publicly defended Crysto Panda and criticised references to his childhood trauma and the loss of his parents during their heated exchange.
Now, Sheebah has become part of the conversation too, with Gloria making it clear that while she respects her, she believes the singer and UNMF leader chose her friend’s side over what she considers a fair assessment.
