Gravity Omutujju Reflects on His Failed Concert as a Blessing in Disguise
2024 was a challenging year for Ugandan rapper Gravity Omutujju, whose real name is Gereson Wabuyi.
He encountered several setbacks, including a failed concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, the loss of his mother, and heavy criticism for the vulgarity in his music.
Reflecting on the concert during a TikTok Live session with comedian Kabaata and singer Lil Pazo, Gravity described the experience as a blessing in disguise, despite the pain it caused him.
On September 7, 2024, his “Embaga Ya Isma N’amina” Concert ended in disappointment. Poor attendance left many viewing it as a major flop.
Rather than focusing on the failure, Gravity chose to embrace the lessons it taught him.
He shared that the experience revealed the true nature of those around him, helping him identify his real supporters and exposing some of his silent enemies.
In conclusion, Gravity stated that although he lost that day, he ultimately won in life.
