Green Daddy Accuses Mulago of Negligence After Newborn Daughter’s Death
Green Daddy, born Vincent Kibalama, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of his newborn daughter.
The 30-year-old Ugandan singer, known for songs like “Batya Nyoo,” revealed that his firstborn passed away at Mulago National Referral Hospital on the morning of February 9, 2026.
In emotional videos that have since gone viral, Green Daddy accused the national referral hospital of negligence.
He claimed there were delays in care, indifference from some staff members and poor handling of the situation.
Visibly distressed, the singer blamed the facility for what he believes was a preventable death.
There is negligence. My daughter has died here because of negligence.
He further alleged that his child was not the only newborn affected, claiming that several other babies had suffered similar fates within the same period.
In the same videos, Green Daddy expressed frustration, referencing his recent performances at government related events.
I performed for this government… but things are not going well at Mulago.
Reports also indicate that hospital security attempted to stop him from recording his statements while at the facility.
As of now, Mulago National Referral Hospital has not issued an official statement regarding the allegations.
The tragic news has sparked widespread condolences online, with many calling for improvements in public healthcare services.
