Grenade and Rickman to Settle Their Differences in a Boxing Match
Moses Muhangi, the President of the Uganda Boxing Federation, has announced an exciting boxing match between popular musicians Grenade Official and Rickman Manrick.
This highly anticipated event will take place on December 26, 2024, during the Grand Finale of the 2024 Uganda Boxing Champions League at the Lugogo UMA Show Grounds.
The match comes after a series of dramatic incidents between the two artistes, starting with an altercation at Club La Terraza in Kampala in September 2023.
Socialite Sheilah Gashumba accused Grenade of injuring her then-boyfriend, Rickman. She claimed that the altercation left Rickman with stitches on his lips.
This incident sparked considerable talk, including voice notes in which Grenade hinted that the fight might be linked to his past relationship with Sheilah.
Recently, Grenade and Rickman participated in a media interview to address their ongoing feud. During the interview, Rickman made it clear that while he enjoys Grenade’s music, he has personal issues with him as Ndugwa Deus, Grenade’s real name.

When asked if he would be willing to shake Grenade’s hand, Rickman firmly replied no. However, he expressed openness to the idea of a boxing match to resolve their differences. Grenade, known for not backing down, confidently accepted the challenge and stated he was ready to face Rickman in the ring.
Thanks to the Uganda Boxing Federation, fans can now look forward to this heated match-up as the two artistes prepare to step into the boxing ring to settle their differences.
Will Grenade deliver a knockout performance, or will Rickman prove his skills in the ring? The anticipation is building, and the stakes could not be higher.
As fans eagerly prepare for this epic showdown at the Lugogo UMA Show Grounds, one question lingers: Is Sheilah Gashumba truly the root cause of their rivalry, or is there a deeper history between Grenade and Rickman?
