Grenade: “Rickman Cheated Me” as He Backs Shakib in Upcoming Bout

As the celebrity boxing match between singer Rickman and socialite Shakib Cham draws closer on August 30, another familiar name has jumped back into the spotlight, at least verbally.

Musician Grenade, speaking during an appearance on Flex, threw his full support behind Shakib while reigniting his long-standing feud with Rickman.

Their history dates back to December 2024, when Rickman defeated Grenade in a corporate boxing match organized by the Uganda Boxing Federation.

The result was a 4–1 unanimous decision in Rickman’s favor, but Grenade has never accepted the outcome.

They cheated me. No one has ever beaten me. Do you see any bruises on my face? I beat Rickman, and they cheated for him. I want a re-match.

Though he will not be stepping into the ring this time, Grenade has made it clear that his money and loyalty are firmly behind Shakib.

“I have put a lot of money in Shakib. I invest in Shakib lowkey. I am team Shakib. Shakib is really going to beat Rickman.

Taking it a step further, Grenade claims he has even covered Rickman’s potential medical needs in advance of the fight.

I paid for the ambulance. I have paid the doctors and the surgeon who will conduct surgery on Rickman after the bout. I paid already.

As for any possibility of reconciling with Rickman, Grenade dismissed it outright.

How can I rub shoulders with someone who cheated me. Rickman cheated me.
