Hajji Haruna Challenges Artistes to Show Discipline This Ramadhan

As Ramadhan draws closer, Hajji Haruna Mubiru is urging fellow artistes to clean up their lifestyles.

While speaking to the media, the veteran singer warned colleagues to step away from alcohol, drugs and distractions during the holy month, reminding them that life in the spotlight comes with responsibility.

As public figures, many young people look up to us. Ramadhan is a time to cleanse ourselves spiritually and physically. We should avoid alcohol and drugs and instead focus on prayer, charity, and doing good.

Hajji Haruna said fame and money mean little without discipline and faith.

He also appealed to event organisers and bar owners to respect Muslim artistes during the holy month by giving them space to observe their faith.

For him, Ramadhan is a time to live the message, not just preach it.
