“Harmonize Used to Visit My Hotel Room Just to Record Music,” Laika Clarifies Her Relationship with Tanzanian Star

Remember when Laika Music, born Laika Umuhoza, shook the internet with photos of her alongside Tanzanian music star Harmonize?

Many fans quickly jumped to conclusions, speculating that the two were romantically involved.

Well, time has passed, but curiosity about their connection still lingers.

In a recent media interview, Laika finally set the record straight, clarifying that there was never a romantic relationship between them.

“We just had a project. It was just business. It was not like a relationship,” she explained, before adding that he is like a brother to her.

She shared that she spent two weeks in Tanzania, staying at a hotel, and during that time, Harmonize would visit so they could record music.

“He used to come, then we record some music then after he goes back,” she said.

However, she admitted that the music they worked on has never been released because Harmonize was often too busy.

Laika also revealed that she met Harmonize through a friend, three years before the public even became aware of their friendship.

As for the breakup rumors, Laika laughed them off, saying there was never a relationship to break up from in the first place.
