Harrison Ford Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award at 2026 Actor Awards

Screen legend Harrison Ford was honored with the SAG AFTRA Lifetime Achievement Award at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall.

The 83 year old star, introduced by longtime friend Woody Harrelson, appeared emotional as he accepted the honor.

In his speech, Ford called acting the greatest joy of his life and thanked the guild for recognizing his journey.

He spoke about the shared privilege of working in a world built on ideas, empathy, and imagination.

Ford also reflected on his good fortune in the industry, saying he felt incredibly grateful for the attention and support he has received over the years.

We share the privilege of working in the world of ideas, of empathy, of imagination… I am indeed a lucky guy… I feel incredibly grateful for this kind attention.

He thanked his wife, Calista Flockhart, and collaborators including George Lucas and Steven Spielberg.

The night ended with a standing ovation as the audience celebrated one of Hollywood’s most enduring stars.
