By Helen Menta

Ugandan Kadongokamu singer and self-proclaimed traditional healer Hassan Nduga has opened up about his current struggles in both his personal and spiritual life. In an interview, Nduga shared that he tried to officially remove his name from certain religious records, but Muslim authorities declined to approve his request, leaving him in a difficult position. He said the decision was deeply personal and reflected his current beliefs.

Nduga also revealed that he recently separated from his partner, citing a lack of respect for his cultural values and traditional practices. He explained that anyone close to him should understand and embrace his way of life.

Despite criticism about his identity as both a musician and a traditional healer, Nduga said he feels at peace and intends to continue living authentically. Fans have reacted with mixed emotions, some worried while others applauded his honesty and courage.
