Mun*G is finally giving fans what they have been asking for, a concert.
The rapper says the timing could not be better, with both his fans and the political climate in mind.
During a chat with Sanyuka Uncut, Mun*G revealed that fan demand played a huge role in his decision.
He also sees 2025 as a rare chance to celebrate music freely before politics takes center stage next year.
My fans have been asking for some time. But this year is a good one for celebrating music, because next year will be a bit difficult politically. This is the year people have before politics takes over.
The venue was another key piece of the puzzle.
Fans wanted a premium experience, and Mun*G delivered by locking down the prestigious Kampala Serena Hotel, even though it was not easy.
My fans have grown. They asked for the Kampala Serena Hotel, and it was not easy to get, but I finally secured it. And once I did, I decided to go ahead with the concert this year.
Dubbed “The Champions Ball,” the concert is set for August 30.
Fans will not miss a beat, as Sanyuka TV and AfroMobile will be broadcasting the show live.
