How the Benti Boys Got Their Stage Name with Help from Producer Nessim

The Benti Boys, a music duo made up of biological brothers, revealed to Sanyuka TV that their stage name originated from their first song, Benti Dance, produced by Nessim Pan Production.

Originally intended to be a trio, the group had to adjust when one member failed to show up on the recording day.

With only two members present, Nessim suggested they continue as a duo and even gave them the name Benti Boys.

The duo explained that the song marked a defining moment for them, providing the perfect inspiration for their name as it symbolized the start of their journey in the music industry.

They went on to release songs like “Birungi” and “Nakuwona,” but these did not gain much traction before they found success with their breakthrough hit, “Wana Wankya,” in 2022.

It is also worth mentioning that, before pursuing music, the two were deeply involved in dancing and even served as the official king dancers for singer Ykee Benda.
