I Am a Trained Teacher of Divinity and Luganda — Nandor Love

You may know her for hits like “Kinawolovu,” “Mpologoma,” and “Embuzi (G.O.A.T),” and for her strong pen game that has produced songs for other artistes.

But away from the studio, Nandor Love has another qualification many fans may not know about.

Speaking on NBS Kurt, the singer, born Nantume Dorcus Tendo, revealed that she is a trained teacher.

Although she is not currently in the classroom, she says the profession is still part of her.

I do not teach now, but I can. I teach Divinity, that is for Advanced Level. For Ordinary Level, that is CRE. Then Luganda. I am well versed in the language.

With that academic background, it is perhaps no surprise that Nandor Love’s songwriting often stands out, especially in Luganda, a language she says she understands deeply.
