“I Do Not Want to Embarrass Her Again,” Cindy Blocks All Hopes for a Sheebah Rematch

Cindy Sanyu has finally spoken up about the idea of facing Sheebah Karungi in a second music battle.

The first showdown in September 2023 at Kololo Independence Grounds had the whole country talking.

Fans still argue about it to this day and many have been pushing for a rematch.

But according to Cindy, that will never happen.

During an interview with Tawfiq Media, the King Herself made it very clear that she has no interest in another clash with Sheebah or any other female artiste.

Cindy said she actually regrets the way the first battle turned out for her opponent.

I do not want to battle with anyone ever again, especially a female musician. I do not want to embarrass a fellow female. You cannot embarrass people like that twice. The first time it was a battle. The second time would just be evil. It would be very unfair. I would be a very terrible person if I embarrassed the same exact person again. No, I do not want to. I did it and it was on a national level, both home and away. So I do not want to do it again. It ended. I made my point.

Cindy added that her decision is not about Sheebah alone.

She is not interested in battling anyone at all, especially women in the industry.

I do not want to. If there is a promoter thinking about it, they should just forget about it. I am never doing it again. I cannot do that with the same person. I do not even want to embarrass any woman in my life… because you see, on my side it was amazing, but when I sat down and thought, ‘what if that was me and someone embarrassed me in front of the whole country?’ It would have left me in a very bad state. So I said to myself that I will never do that to anyone ever again. I do not need to prove myself again. It is not necessary.

Cindy feels she has already shown what she needed to show and does not want to cause unnecessary rivalry or pain.

So for fans hoping for a round two of Cindy versus Sheebah, it looks like that dream has officially ended.

According to Cindy, the chapter is closed and she is moving forward with positive energy.
