“I Feel I Need to Work More Before It Can Happen,” Ava Peace on the Possibility of a Collaboration with Sheebah Karungi

When singer Ava Peace joined Jeff Kiwa’s Team No Sleep (TNS), many speculated that she was brought in to replace Sheebah Karungi, given their similar energy and vibe.

In response, Ava Peace acknowledged that being compared to Sheebah, one of Uganda’s top musicians, is a compliment.

“The fact that I have been in a position where nobody even knew me, and right now they are comparing me to one of the best Uganda has ever had, I take it as something positive,” she said.

Speaking to YouTuber Shalom256, she clarified that Sheebah is a legend in Uganda’s entertainment industry and emphasized that she was not brought in as her replacement.

“I am Ava Peace, and that will not change. Sheebah Karungi is Sheebah Karungi, and no one can ever be her. She is a queen,” she shared.

While Ava Peace is currently one of the top artistes in the country, she also mentioned that she feels the need to put in more work before a potential collaboration with Queen Karma can take place.
