I Need a ‘Girlfriend Proposal’ to Consider You My Boyfriend, Tracy Says

Media personality Tracy Mildred has spoken out about what she calls the new confusion in modern relationships.

Speaking on Sanyuka She Talk, Tracy said some men these days can date a woman, spend time with her, and even enjoy all the benefits of being in a relationship, but still refuse to make things official.

According to her, the problem starts when a woman asks for clarity, then the man suddenly says he never asked her to be his girlfriend.

Tracy said she does not entertain that kind of situation.

She explained that for her, a man only becomes her boyfriend after he officially claims her and clearly asks her to be his girlfriend.

Until that happens, she says she does not consider herself taken.

If you have not claimed me by telling me that I am your girlfriend, then you are not my boyfriend. You know lately we have this new thing called “proposing to me to be your girlfriend.” Because these days, you can be with someone only for them to later say, “Tracy, I have never told you that you are my girlfriend. I have never asked you to be my girlfriend.” So before you propose to me to be your girlfriend, I consider you not being my boyfriend.

So for anyone hoping to just slide into boyfriend status, think again.
