“I Wanted a Job, but Ended Up in Music Instead,” Dr Lover Bwoy Reflects on His Start

Rising singer Dr Lover Bwoy, whose real name is Mulaya Sefu, has shared that becoming a musician was never part of his original plan.

He revealed that he left his home in Jinja and moved to Kampala with the hope of finding a job.

His main goal was to start earning for himself because he was tired of constantly depending on his mother, even for small things like airtime.

However, upon arrival in the capital, things took a different turn as he met people who steered him towards music instead of employment.

Through this connection, they bonded over their shared passion, and that is how his music journey began.

Today, Lover Bwoy is proud of the bold step he took, and according to him, his voice has earned him the title of “Ladies Favorite.”
