Ice Prince Regrets Unresolved Feud With AKA
Nigerian rapper Ice Prince Zamani says he is still hurting over the death of South African rapper AKA.
He revealed that there was a misunderstanding between them that never got resolved before AKA passed away.
The issue began during the 2019 xenophobic violence in South Africa, when AKA made comments on Twitter about Nigerians.
Ice Prince responded online, and the interaction appeared like a feud at the time.
Speaking on the G2G Podcast, Ice Prince said he has since asked God for forgiveness for not mending the friendship while AKA was alive.
He admitted that he still feels AKA’s presence during prayer, describing the late rapper as more than just a collaborator.
Ice Prince recalled how AKA had visited his home in Lagos several times, emphasizing their close bond.
AKA was shot dead outside a restaurant in Durban on February 10, 2023.
The trial into his murder is still ongoing.
