Irene Ntale on Why Wedding Gigs Bring Her More Fulfillment Than Awards

Ugandan singer and songwriter Irene Ntale began her professional music career in 2013 when she signed with Swangz Avenue.

In 2017, she decided to part ways with the label to pursue her own path.

Over the years, she blessed fans with popular songs like Gyobera, Stay With Me, and Nkubukinze, which dominated the airwaves.

In recent years, however, she has not had a chart-topping song like before. Despite this, her passion for music remains strong.

When asked in an interview if she feels appreciated enough by her fans, she did not hesitate to say yes.

She explained that they keep her busy with performances at special events, particularly weddings.
