Ugandan singer Irene Ntale has spoken out to set the record straight about a few things that have been circulating in the media and among fans.

Speaking to Sanyuka TV, Ntale said she is not part of any music association and has no plans to join one.

She explained that many of these groups are not truly about helping musicians grow or working together.

Instead, she believes they are full of personal interests, power struggles, and politics.

“I am not part of any music association and I have no intention to join one,” she said.

“Most of them are not about unity or progress. They are about egos and personal gain. I believe in real teamwork, not cliques.”

Ntale also addressed rumors about drug and alcohol use.

She made it clear that she does not take drugs and does not abuse alcohol.

She said such rumors usually come from people who are trying to bring others down without any real reason.

“No, I do not do drugs. I do not abuse alcohol,” she said.

“People spread lies when they have nothing real to attack. I have worked hard to get where I am. I do not need drugs or alcohol to perform or to deal with life. I keep my mind and my energy clean.”

With these words, Irene Ntale reminded everyone that she stands by her values and is proud of the path she has taken.
