Is Bruno K Still a Musician? James Propa Thinks Not

Music analyst James Propa has voiced concerns about musicians who frequently go live on TikTok, questioning whether they are using the platform to promote their music.

According to him, many of these artistes rarely focus on their craft during live sessions, often using the space to engage in conversations that have little or nothing to do with music.

Of all those musicians who go live, I do not know if any of them actually do music promotion. It is always about social issues or personal matters. There is nothing to do with the music.

Propa specifically pointed to singer Bruno K, who hosts a popular TikTok show called Ekiboozi, questioning whether he still identifies as a musician.

I do not think Bruno K is still an artiste. I think he is more of a media personality than a musician.

Despite the criticism, Propa noted that there is nothing wrong with shifting careers or exploring other interests outside of music.
