Jose Chameleon Addresses Domestic Violence Accusations Amid Wife’s Disclosures
Ugandan music icon, Jose Chameleon, has broken his silence following accusations of domestic violence made by his wife, Daniella Atim. Speaking out amidst the controversy, Chameleon expressed a mixture of defiance and reflection.
“What failed me failed me. Right now I have moved on. I’m left with looking for money and enjoying life,” Chameleon stated.
When asked for specifics regarding the allegations, Chameleon redirected inquiries, suggesting interested parties seek information from Daniella herself.
“People who want to know any details on the allegations should call America and get the details. For me I know I am not perfect but I did my best,” he remarked.
Acknowledging the emotional toll of the accusations, Chameleon admitted, “Of course these things hurt me. But the biggest reasons they hurt me is that Ugandans are still not understanding.”
The controversy erupted after Daniella Atim took to Instagram to share her experiences of enduring domestic abuse over a 16-year period. Currently residing in a Minnesota suburb with their five children, Daniella’s disclosure shed light on her traumatic journey and her path to healing.
In her Instagram post, Daniella emphasized her reliance on faith and resilience as she navigated the challenges of single motherhood in a new country.
